The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt follows directly from the events of The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings. The game begins with Geralt’s dream about Kaer Morhen, a demolished witcher school. Yennefer, a sorceress and his love interest, notifies Geralt of Ciri, a young female witcher in training and their adopted daughter, practicing without his permission.

The game begins with Shun Akiyama, a loan shark infamous for giving out interest free loans with no collateral, going to collect several debts. He is sidetracked at one point and is involved in a quarrel at a bar, where he beats a medium ranking member of the Ueno Seiwa Clan, Ihara.
For the first time in the series, the game features five distinct locales across Japan. First of which will be returning from previous games is Kamurocho (a.k.a. Kamuro City), a fictionalized yet realistic recreation of Shinjuku’s red-light district, Kabukichō.

Ys Origin features three characters with various fighting styles. Yunica is able to wield axes and greatswords with ease. In addition to standard hack-and-slash combos, Yunica is also able to perform various aerial maneuvers such as the down-thrust and up-thrust from previous Ys games, as well as a crippling lunge attack.
By the archipelagos of the Goethe Sea located in south of Greece, Adol is on a passenger ship called “The Lombardia” that is headed from Xandria to the continent of Eresia. However, the ship is attacked and sunk by a giant creature, and Adol wakes up, he realizes he is on the shores of the cursed island, known as “Seiren Island.”
In 2028, Sigma is abducted and placed inside an elevator with Phi. Zero III appears on a monitor and informs them that they are participating in the Nonary Game and that they must escape the elevator before it falls.
