Goku and his friends must fight a new battle against a revived Android 16 and an army of super androids designed to resemble and fight just like them led by the villainous Android 21. The story is split into three chapters: the Super Warriors Arc, the Super Villain Arc, and the Android 21 Arc, each of which follows the story from the perspectives of Goku, Frieza, and Android 18 respectively. In the timeline, the game takes place sometime between the “Future Trunks” and “Universe Survival” arcs of Dragon Ball Super.

Starting in Sign‘s storyline, the first part is set in arcade mode through each characters’ own storyline, and focuses on Ramlethal Valentine’s arc, while the second part of the storyline is set after arcade mode’s storyline on the console version, focusing on after the capture of Ramlethal in Conclave and Justice’s arc, and also serves as the beginning of Elphelt Valentine’s arc in the final chapter.

In 2613, the world is ruled by an empire known as the Commonwealth, under the reign of Tiberius. Neighboring nations have suffered under the Commonwealth’s oppression and resistance forces rise across the land.

The protagonist, Touya Kagari, is a resident of Shin Yokozaki City and a sophomore at the prestigious Hakuou North Academy. An earnest and responsible young man, Touya appears to be no more than your average high school student.

The protagonist, “Me”, lives on the outskirts of the city of Ishana with her little sister in idyllic peace. However, that peace is shattered when “Me’s” sister disappears without a trace.
