Wolfenstein
The story is set in the fictional town of Isenstadt, which the Nazis have taken complete control of in order to mine rare Nachtsonne crystals necessary to access the “Black Sun” dimension. As the game progresses, happenings in Isenstadt become stranger (German patrols are replaced by supernatural creatures, etc.)

The first three episodes of the game focus on William “B.J.” Blazkowicz’s attempts to escape from Castle Wolfenstein and overthrow the Nazi regime.
It follows the events of the previous game, where the Nazis won the Second World War and the Kreisau Circle managed to stop William “B.J.” Blazkowicz’s nemesis General Wilhelm “Deathshead” Strasse.
The game takes place during 1960 in a world in which the Nazis won the Second World War. William “B.J.” Blazkowicz is tasked with launching an “impossible” counter-offensive against the Nazi powers that have taken over the world.
Wolfenstein: The Old Blood takes place in an alternate history 1946 just prior to the prologue of Wolfenstein: The New Order, with O.S.A. agents B.J. Blazkowicz and Richard Wesley on a mission to infiltrate Castle Wolfenstein and obtain a top secret folder containing the location of General Wilhelm “Deathshead” Strasse from the castle’s commander, Nazi archeologist Helga Von Schabbs.
